Hello benbrook Bobcat Band,
We hope you are doing well and staying safe in these difficult and unprecedented times. We learned this last week that FWISD has cancelled school, and any corresponding school field trips through at least May 15, 2020. Unfortunately, this means that our NYC Trip will not be allowed to take place this year. Though we are disappointed, we believe this is the wisest decision to protect the health of our students.
We have been working behind the scenes with our travel company to explore the best options for this trip going forward, and have formulated two options for you to consider:
1. Reschedule the trip for the Spring of 2021. We are working with our travel agent to reschedule as much of the trip as possible. This option allows you to put all of your previous payments towards next year’s trip, meaning that you don't lose any money.
2. Work to refund as much of your money as possible. Our travel agent is working hard to confirm with each vendor what percentage of a refund they will be able to get.
We thank you for your continued patience as we work alongside our travel agency and the BMHS administration to make the most of your investment in this trip.
